FREE PATTERN: Coffee Flower Coasters




Materials:
● Yarn: Kable by Moscow Yarn Company, Lace / 2 ply, 100% Cotton, 470 yards / 100 grams
(8.4m (9.1 yards) - brown, 7.25m (7.9 yards) - white)
● Hook: US C/2 (3.0 mm)
● Stitch holder/marker


Finished Size: approx. 10cm (4 inches) in diameter


Abbreviations (US):
ch — chain, ch sp — chain space, dc — double crochet, sc — single crochet, sl st — slip stitch,
st(s) — stitch(es), tc — treble crochet, () — work directions in brackets as many times as
specified.

Coffee flower motif
Round 1 (White): Make a magic ring. Ch 3 (counted as first dc), 11 dc in ring. Join with sl st to top chain of ch-3.
Round 2 (Brown): Join brown yarn thread and work 2 sc in each st of previous round.
Round 3 (Brown): Leave white yarn with a loop in front of motif. (Ch 5, skip next st, sc in next st) - 11 times, ch 2, 1 dc (counts as last ch sp).
Round 4 (White): Work with white yarn and make white ch arches in front and leaving brown arches
behind. 1 sc in nearest unworked st of previous round (brown round with sc) and repeat round 4: (ch 5,
skip next st, 1 sc in next st) — 11 times, ch 2, 1 dc (counts as last ch sp).
Round 5 (Brown): Leave white yarn behind your work. (Ch 6, 1 sc in each brown ch sp) — 11 times, ch 3, 1 dc (counts as last ch sp).
Round 6 (White): Repeat round 5 and make white ch arches working 1 sc in each white ch sp of
previous round. Brown arches should be in front and white arches behind them.
Round 7 (Brown): Leave white yarn in front of your work. (Ch 7, 1 sc in each brown ch sp) — 11 times, ch 3, 1 tc (counts as last ch sp).
Round 8 (Brown): Ch 6, 1 sc in each brown ch sp. Fasten off brown yarn.
Round 9 (White): (Ch 3, 1 sc in each brown ch sp of round 8, ch 3, 1 sc in next white ch sp of round 6)
— 12 times. Fasten off white yarn. Weave in ends and enjoy your coffee!

  3. It is hard for me to line up the rounds. You have 9 rounds and 12 photos, and I find it somewhat confusing.
